Ragging constitutes one or more of the following acts with or without any intention by any student or group of students: <\/p>\r\n      <ul class=\"baidu-arrow-list space-y-2\">\r\n        <li>Any act of <strong>Indiscipline, Teasing or Handling with Rudeness<\/strong>.<\/li>\r\n        <li>Any act that <strong>Prevents, Disrupts or Disturbs<\/strong> the Regular Academic Activity.<\/li>\r\n        <li>Any act of <strong>Financial Extortion or Forceful Expenditure<\/strong>.<\/li>\r\n        <li>Any act of <strong>Physical Abuse<\/strong> causing Assault, Harm or Danger to Health or Life.<\/li>\r\n        <li>Any act of <strong>Abuse by Spoken Words<\/strong>, e-mail, SMS, MMS or Public Insult etc.<\/li>\r\n        <li>Any activity which is likely to cause <strong>Annoyance, Hardships, Physical or Psychological Harm<\/strong> or creates Fear.<\/li>\r\n        <li>Any act of <strong>Injury to the Fundamental Right to Human Dignity<\/strong>.<\/li>\r\n        <li>Any act of <strong>Wrongful Confinement<\/strong>, use of Criminal Force Trespass or Intimidation.<\/li>\r\n        <li>Any <strong>Unlawful Assembly<\/strong> or Abatement or Conspiracy to &#8220;Ragging&#8221;.<\/li>\r\n      <\/ul>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n    \r\n    <!-- Punishments -->\r\n    <h2 class=\"text-2xl sm:text-3xl font-bold text-gray-900 mt-10 mb-6\">Punishment for Ragging<\/h2>\r\n    <div class=\"space-y-5 text-gray-700 leading-relaxed text-base sm:text-lg\">\r\n      <p> Any student or Group of Students found guilty of &#8220;Ragging&#8221; in the Campus or Hostels or College Buses or even outside the Campus shall be liable for one or more of the following Punishment: <\/p>\r\n      <ul class=\"baidu-arrow-list space-y-2\">\r\n        <li><strong>Suspension<\/strong> from Attending Classes and Academic Privileges.<\/li>\r\n        <li><strong>Suspension or Expulsion<\/strong> from Hostels\/College Bus.<\/li>\r\n        <li><strong>Debarring<\/strong> from Appearing in any Seasonal Test\/University Examination.<\/li>\r\n        <li><strong>F.I.R.<\/strong> against the Concerned Student or Group of Students.<\/li>\r\n        <li><strong>Fine up-to Rs. 25,000\/-<\/strong> to the Concerned Student of Group of Students.<\/li>\r\n        <li><strong>Withdrawing Scholarship<\/strong> and other Benefits.<\/li>\r\n        <li><strong>Rustication<\/strong> from the Institution for a period of One to Four Semesters.<\/li>\r\n        <li><strong>Expulsion<\/strong> from the Institution and also debarring from Admission to any other Institution through University.<\/li>\r\n        <li><strong>Entry in the Character\/Transfer Certificates<\/strong> regarding the Punishment given for any Act of &#8220;Ragging&#8221;.<\/li>\r\n      <\/ul>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n    \r\n    <!-- Committees -->\r\n    <h2 class=\"text-2xl sm:text-3xl font-bold text-gray-900 mt-10 mb-6\">Constituted Committees for Prevention<\/h2>\r\n    <div class=\"space-y-5 text-gray-700 leading-relaxed text-base sm:text-lg\">\r\n      <p> <strong>Anti-Ragging Committee:<\/strong> It shall be the duty of Anti Ragging Committee to ensure compliance with the provisions of these Regulations as well as the provisions of any law for the time being in force concerning ragging, and also to monitor and oversee the performance of Anti-Ragging Squad\/ Proctorial Board in prevention of Ragging in the Institution. <\/p>\r\n      <p> <strong>Anti-Ragging Squad\/Proctorial Board:<\/strong> This committee headed by the Chief Proctor shall take a regular round in the campus, make surprise raids on hostels and other places vulnerable to incidents and having the potential for Ragging and shall be empowered to inspect such places. <\/p>\r\n      <p> <strong>Mentoring Cell:<\/strong> Institution constituted a Mentoring Cell, consisting of students volunteering to be Mentors for the freshers. <\/p>\r\n      <p> <strong>Women Grievances Cell:<\/strong> A special cell has been constituted.
