Student Grievance Redressal Committee
The Student Grievance Redressal Committee has been constituted to provide an effective, transparent, and student-friendly mechanism for addressing and resolving grievances in a fair and timely manner. The Committee ensures that every student’s concern is heard and addressed with integrity, thereby fostering a positive and harmonious learning environment across the University.
About SC/ST Cell
The SC/ST Cell has been established to promote the welfare, academic development, and equal opportunities of students belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities. The Cell provides guidance and support to students in academic, personal, career, and administrative matters and works towards creating an inclusive, safe, and supportive campus environment.
Objectives
- To provide counselling, guidance, and support to SC/ST students.
- To create awareness about scholarships and Government welfare schemes.
- To facilitate grievance redressal and address academic and administrative concerns.
- To promote career guidance and opportunities for skill development.
- To ensure implementation of applicable Government/UGC provisions relating to SC/ST students.
- To support the educational and overall development of SC/ST students.
Functions
- To disseminate information regarding Government/UGC schemes, scholarships, and relevant provisions.
- To maintain and monitor relevant data regarding SC/ST admissions and other prescribed information.
- To address representations and grievances of SC/ST students and employees.
- To monitor the implementation of applicable welfare and support measures.
- To undertake initiatives that promote higher education and the overall development of SC/ST communities.
