The Equal Opportunity Cell (EOC) is committed to supervising the successful implementation of policies and programs designed for disadvantaged groups. We are dedicated to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout our institution. The cell strives to eradicate discrimination and foster a supportive environment in which every person can flourish, irrespective of gender, race, caste, religion, disability, or socioeconomic background.

- Ensure Compliance: Put into practice government policies, guidelines, and constitutional provisions concerning reservations and equal opportunities.
- Eliminate Discrimination: Tackle and resolve complaints involving discrimination, harassment, or bias on campus.
- Promote Accessibility: Build a barrier-free environment for persons with disabilities (PwD) by enhancing physical and digital infrastructure.
- Provide Support: Arrange remedial classes, skill development workshops, and career counseling for marginalized communities.
- Raise Awareness: Conduct seminars, interactive sessions, and sensitization programs to foster a culture of mutual respect.
Functions & Activities
- Grievance Redressal: Providing a safe and confidential platform for lodging complaints about discrimination or unfair treatment.
- Scholarship & Financial Aid Guidance: Helping students from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds obtain financial aid, fellowships, and scholarships.
- Skill Development: Running specialized training programs, language proficiency classes, and basic computer training to improve employability.
- Counseling Services: Providing academic, personal, and career counseling to assist students in overcoming challenges successfully.
Composition of the Cell
The Equal Opportunity Cell is made up of committed faculty members, administrative staff, and student representatives who collaborate to tackle equity concerns on campus.
