VIRTUAL LABS – IIT KANPUR SOE

Virtual Labs, an initiative by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, provides remote access to real-time laboratories across science and engineering disciplines. Coordinated by IIT Kanpur, it enables students and faculty to perform experiments through a simulated interactive environment using only an internet connection.

The platform strengthens conceptual understanding and practical skills, especially benefiting institutions with limited physical infrastructure by ensuring equitable access to quality education.

Aims

To bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application by offering free remote access to high-quality lab experiments.
