The Art and Performance Forum at the School of Architecture and Planning, BBD University, Lucknow is a dynamic platform dedicated to fostering creativity, artistic expression, and cultural enrichment within our college community. This forum brings together students, faculty, and staff who share a passion for the arts, providing opportunities for collaboration, performance, and the exploration of diverse artistic disciplines.

Through a wide range of activities, including exhibitions, workshops, performances, and discussions, the Art and Performance Forum aims to celebrate the rich diversity of talent at our college. It encourages innovation and dialogue, helping to cultivate a vibrant artistic environment where ideas can flourish and new forms of expression can emerge.

AIM

Our goal is to create a supportive space where all members can engage with the arts, develop their skills, and contribute to the cultural life of our campus.

OBJECTIVE

  • To provide a platform for students to showcase their talents in various forms of art and performance, including visual arts, music, dance, theater, and literature.
  • To foster collaboration among members from different disciplines, encouraging interdisciplinary projects that blend various artistic mediums and perspectives.
  • To celebrate and promote cultural diversity through art and performance, creating opportunities for the exploration and appreciation of different cultural traditions and artistic practices.
  • To inspire and support innovative approaches to art and performance, encouraging members to push the boundaries of their creative practices.
  • To create an inclusive and supportive environment where all members feel valued and empowered to express themselves.
  • To document and archive the creative works and performances of forum members, preserving the artistic legacy of the college.

ACTIVITIES

  1. CLAY MODELING – The forum introduces Clay Modelling Activity to foster creativity and hands-on artistic expression. Participants can explore the tactile art of clay modelling and shape their ideas into tangible forms, regardless of prior experience.
  2. CANVAS PAINTING – This activity offers an engaging experience for members to explore painting and express creativity. It enhances artistic skills while also serving as a therapeutic outlet for self-expression.
  3. TATTOO MAKING – This activity allows participants to explore tattoo design by understanding its history and cultural significance while gaining hands-on experience in creating their own designs.
